Angry Java Developer Shows Ass
Here’s Ted Dziuba, on Hadoop, Ruby, Web 2.0 and OSS. As you can see not much has changed since the days of the now defunct Uncov, erstwhile slayer of Web 2.0 shitcocks the world ‘round.
One thing’s changed since the day’s of Uncov: Persai Pressflip has launched to a shrug-worthy reception. Here’s my experience with Pressflip at the time of this writing:

Since the screen shot doesn’t really get the message across, let’s look at the output in a more analytical form:
curl -i "http://pressflip.com/s?q=hadoop"
HTTP/1.1 200 OK

Yeah. Nothing. An empty response.
I acknowledge that this is probably a temporary situation. But that’s exactly what I’m getting at: poorly implemented technology sucks regardless of the language it was written in. Scaling problems can exist on any platform.
We live in a world that for the most part lacks absolutes, but one thing I’m crystal fucking clear on: if Ted Dziuba was still doing the Uncov thing and Persai or what ever the hell he’s calling it now was someone elses product, he’d be balls deep up the ass of it’s creators, frothing at the mouth and gnashing his teeth in the midst of his orgasmic thrusts and lunges while he flung shit about it’s every inadequacy. And he’d do it in typically clever Ted Dziuba style.
